Back in December 2022 as part of ‘National Tree Week’, Sussex Nature Partnership and South Downs National Park Authority co-hosted a webinar for local authorities and landowners on the various toolkits and sources of support for those interested in woodland creation in Sussex. This event was also used to officially launch the Woodland Opportunity Map for Sussex which has been developed by the nature partnership with support from SDNPA and Woodland Trust.
The event also featured presentations from Natural England, The Tree Council, West Sussex CC, Woodland Trust, High Weald AONB and Forestry Commission. Slides and links to information provided at that event are now on our ‘previous events’ page and can be viewed here.
