Biodiversity Opportunity Areas

Biodiversity Opportunity Areas were defined in a project lead by the South East Biodiversity Forum in 2008. In Sussex the process involved broad consultation and details of the process can be found here.

Biodiversity Opportunity Areas have been identified as those areas that present the best opportunity for enhancing biodiversity, often being buffers around existing reserves or linkages between existing sites.
