The following interim guidance has been developed by Sussex Nature Partnership to provide Local Planning Authorities with some additional information on how Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is expected to work, as we wait for formal guidance to be published by government. We hope that this will be later this year ahead of BNG becoming mandatory.
