Sussex Marine and Coastal Forum

The aim of the Sussex Coastal and Marine Forum is to promote a sustainable approach to the management, use and development of the Sussex Coast and Marine Areas, including Estuaries, to ensure that its inherent natural and cultural qualities are maintained and enhanced for the benefit of future generations.

Biodiversity

The Biodiversity subgroup of the Sussex LNP was initiated in Summer 2014.

The East Sussex Green Infrastructure Study was reported to the group in September 2014 - documents can be downloaded here.

Ecosystem services

The Ecosystem Service subgroup of the Sussex LNP was initiated in Summer 2014. The group will be using mapping undertaken by the Sussex Biodiversity Record Centre using ECOSERV-GIS developed by Durham Wildlife Trust.
